Up to now, ZDNS has led the formulation of 5 IETF international standards and participated in the formulation of 26 domestic industry standards. It has Build a new gTLD (generic top - level domain) hosting service platform that leads in Asia. WEI MAO
WEI MAO, Director of ZDNS, Guest Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor at the Computer Network Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Vice Chairman of the Internet Society of China, Vice President of the China Federation of Internet Social Organizations, Member of the Information and Communication Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Pioneer in the Service and Management of Internet Basic Resources in China, and Author of Multiple Internet International Standards (IETF RFCs).

In 1994, he participated in the project of China's full - functional connection to the international Internet: the Education and Research Demonstration Network in the Zhongguancun area (NCFC), and won the Special Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 1997, he established the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) and served as its first director. From 2002 to 2010, he served as the Deputy Director of the Computer Network Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

He enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council of China. In 2014, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame to commemorate the 20th anniversary of China's full - functional access to the Internet, and was selected as a leading talent in scientific and technological entrepreneurship in the National "Ten Thousand Talents Program".
